Method:

Step 1:Wash and prepare mushrooms. (break the stems off and discard)

Step 2:Chop up the onion.

Step 3:In a small pot, boil or steam the cut up organic yam. (I scrub the skin and leave it on)

Step 4:In a larger skillet melt the butter. (if you are vegan use coconut oil)

Step 5:Take the onions and about 1/3 of the cut up mushrooms and saute’ till soft. Add the seasoning, Bragg's Amino’s and A1 or Worsheshire sauce.

Step 6:Add the almond milk and let simmer for a minute or two.

Step 7:Add the cut up and cooked yam.

Take this mixture and put in a blender or food processor for about 30 seconds to a minute. It makes a rich and thick sauce.

Step 8:Place sauce back into pan and add the remainder of mushrooms, asparagus (and zucchini if you choose to add this).

Sautes until the mushrooms and asparagus are soft or to

desired state. And there you have it!

Spoon over Barley Bake, Brown Rice, or as seen in the photo a mixture of brown, wild rice and quinoa. Sprinkle chopped green onion on top and serve.
